City Council

  1. Community Meeting on Proposed Firearm Storage Ordinance

    May 29, 2018, 7:00 PM @ Multi-Purpose Room

The Saratoga City Council will consider proposed regulations for storage and reporting lost/stolen firearms. The proposed ordinance would require firearms to be stored in a locked container or disabled with a safety device when they are not in the immediate control or possession of the owner at home. Additionally, lost or stolen firearms would need to be reported to law enforcement within 48 hours. Before these regulations are considered at the June 20 City Council meeting, a Community Meeting will be held to answer questions and receive input on Tuesday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Joan Pisani Community Center Multipurpose Room, 19655 Allendale Avenue. To read the proposed ordinance in full, or to submit comments and feedback to the City Council, visit www.saratoga.ca.us/proposedordinance
