Highway 9 Tree Removal and Traffic ImpactCaltrans, in collaboration with Santa Clara County Fire Safe Council and Cal Fire, will be removing dead, dying, or diseased trees and vegetation on Highway 9 between Sanborn Road bridge to Highway 35 in Saratoga. Removal is needed to reduce flammable vegetation and create a safe evacuation route in event of fire. Vegetation removal will occur from November 1 to 19, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. |

Countywide Fire Services Study Santa Clara County is looking for feedback on its fire services! The County is working with Matrix Consulting Group to undertake a comprehensive, independent study of how to best organize and resource fire protection in the County. The first virtual town hall meeting was held on Thursday, November 4 and another will be held on Wednesday, November 10. The meetings will be held at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 6 p.m.

Volunteer at Quarry ParkThe Parks and Recreation Commission's Let's Work Program helps beautify and maintain the trails at Quarry Park. The volunteer group meets the second Saturday from November through April, weather permitting. The next meetup will be held Saturday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. Holiday Tree Lighting and Wine Stroll Kick off the holidays with a one-of-a-kind Saratoga tradition! Enjoy the festivities the day after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 26 in downtown Saratoga.
