Housing Element Community Meetings

On Monday, November 22 at 6 p.m., the Planning Commission will hold their third Community Meeting in a series on the Housing Element. Each meeting has a different focus so the community can help the Planning Commission prepare their recommendation to the City Council.

On October 27 and November 9, community members were invited to share their ideas for specific opportunity sites and policies to help meet Saratoga’s housing targets.

On Monday, November 22 at 6 p.m., the Planning Commission will recap ideas shared at the first two meetings, invite new ideas, identify the pros and cons of opportunity site ideas, further discuss policy ideas.

On Tuesday, December 7 at 6 p.m., the Planning Commission will prioritize opportunity sites and policies to identify those that are preferred, and prepare a recommendation to the City Council.
