Housing Element Study Session

The City Council will hold a Housing Element Study Session to provide direction to staff on housing opportunity sites, policies, and programs on Wednesday, February 16 at 5:00 p.m. After providing direction on sites, distribution of units, policies, and programs, environmental review of the Housing Element will begin.

You can share your feedback with the Council using the online comment form or at the meeting. At the meeting, the Council may reduce public speakers' time to comment to less than 3 minutes per speaker.

Free COVID-19 Testing

The County will hold a COVID-19 testing day on Tuesday, February 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Saratoga Prospect Center in Friendship Hall. Testing is free and open to the public. Appointments can be scheduled online.


This testing site is intended for people who do not have symptoms and have not been exposed to COVID-19. The County also offers free testing for those with COVID-19 symptoms or anyone who has been exposed to others with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms. Visit the County website for more testing information.

Love Notes in the Village

The Saratoga Village Development Council invites you to write a note to those you love which will be put up in the Village shop windows! People of any age can participate and any notes submitted will be kept up until February 21. Stroll through the village to read these delightful love notes!

Beauchamp Park Playground Replacement

The City is in the process of replacing the play equipment at Beauchamps Park, incorporating upgrades consistent with the City Council’s Inclusive Playground Policy. Review the proposed design and submit your feedback by February 28. All comments and input will be forwarded to the Parks and Recreation Commission to consider as they review and finalize the design at their meeting on Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. 

This playground design was selected by the Parks and Recreation Commission, and funds for the inclusive playground feature were raised by the Youth Commission. You can learn more about the project on the City's website at www.saratoga.ca.us/beauchamps

Be a part of the process! The City of Saratoga needs knowledgeable and talented residents to advise the City Council on a wide range of subjects that impact the community.  
  
The City is currently seeking volunteers to serve on the following Commissions:   
  • Youth Commission: 6 full terms
  • Parks & Recreation Commission: 1 full term 
  • Traffic Safety Commission: 2 full terms and 1 partial term 
  • Planning Commission: 2 full terms
