Summer Movie Nights

Mark your calendars for free, family-friendly movie nights in El Quito Park (12855 Paseo Presada) every third Friday this summer! The events begin at 7:30 p.m., and movies will be played at sundown.

Memorial Day Observance

Join the Saratoga Foothill Club for the 93rd Annual Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 30 to honor those who gave their lives serving our country and to thank veterans and current members of the armed forces. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with a ceremony at the Memorial Arch at Blaney Plaza in Downtown Saratoga, followed by a procession to Madronia Cemetery (14766 Oak Street) where the Memorial Day service will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Student Concert Series

The Music Departments at Redwood Middle School and Saratoga High School present their year-end May concert series featuring band, orchestra, percussion, choir, jazz, and AP music theory performances. All concerts are free to attend and begin at 7:00 p.m.

• May 25: Redwood Middle School & Saratoga High School Choir at McAfee Theater

SafeSitters Babysitting Training

Santa Clara County Fire Department is offering SafeSitter babysitting training classes for students ages 12 to 15. This is an interactive, in-person course that includes hands-on demonstrations , games, and role-playing exercises. Students will learn about safety skills, quality child care, first aid, and life & business skills. Register online for the class on June 16 in Cupertino or June 22 in Campbell. Both classes will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and students should bring a sack lunch.

Summer Recreation Activities

Join Los Gatos-Saratoga Recreation to learn and play this summer! Students in first through eighth grade have the opportunity to strengthen their academics and play outside through a wide range of challenging, engaging, and fun programs beginning June 13. Learn more and register online.
