Movie Night

Join the City for the final Movie Night of the summer, a Frozen Sing-A-Long on Friday, August 19 in El Quito Park (12855 Paseo Presada). The event will begin at 7:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at sundown. Please come early to find a good spot and enjoy the resource tables.

LAW-Tes with Deputies

Join the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office West Valley Patrol Division for a LAW-tes event on Thursday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Peet's Coffee (12148 Saratoga Sunnyvale Road). Stop by to meet with Sheriff's Deputies and discuss community concerns, learn about crime trends and Neighborhood Watch programs, or simply say hello and enjoy a cup of coffee!

Saratoga Summer Music Series

Join the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce for the Saratoga Summer Music Series on Saturday, August 27 at Wildwood Park at 1:00 p.m. for an afternoon of live music, dance, food, and cheer. Tickets are not required to attend, but registration is requested. You can also sign up to volunteer for this fun-filled event. For more information, visit the Chamber of Commerce website.

Saratoga Safety Fair

Register today for the City of Saratoga Safety Fair on Thursday, September 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Attendees will have a chance to briefly talk one-on-one with public safety organizations on topics, like preventing crime or wildfires. Each registered household will receive a free Neighborhood Watch gift bag. Visit www.saratoga.ca.us/fair to register.

Saratoga Loves Poetry

Attention Saratoga students! Show off your writing skills by participating in the Saratoga Loves Poetry contest, open to students in grades kindergarten through 12 who live or attend school in Saratoga. Submit your original poem of 21 lines or less by September 30 for the chance to win a prize and have your work showcased in the community! Visit www.saratoga.ca.us/art for more information.

Safe Routes to School 

At the July 14 Traffic Safety Commission meeting, the Commission reviewed the draft Safe Routes to School Master Plan and recommended City Council approval at the September 7 Council Meeting. Please review the review the draft Safe Routes to School Master Plan (PDF) with recommended projects for each school location. You can share your feedback with the Council at the meeting. Participation information will be included on the meeting agenda and shared when available. Learn more on the City website at www.saratoga.ca.us/SRTS

Volunteer to Serve your City! 

We're seeking civic-minded citizens to apply to serve on the City's various Commissions. There are currently openings on the Public Art, Library & Community Engagement, Parks & Recreation, Heritage Preservation Commission, and Traffic Safety Commissions.
