  1. Traffic Safety Commission Recruitment

    The City is now seeking volunteers for positions on the Traffic Safety Commission. Please visit for information about the current number of vacancies, term lengths, and the recruitment schedule, including the application deadline, interview date, and Oath of Office date.


    • Must be a resident in the City of Saratoga
    • Must attend at least one Commission meeting prior to the interview with the City Council
    • Must submit a completed application form and supplemental questionnaire prior to the application deadline


    Following the application deadline, qualified applicants will be invited to interview with the City Council on in the late afternoon/evening on the date specified in the recruitment schedule. Please note that interviews are recorded.

    The Traffic Safety Commission investigates, reviews and analyzes traffic safety issues raised by the Community members and Public Safety Agencies.     Commission members are subject to Conflict of Interest provisions by State law and Commissioners must file the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests within 30 days of taking the Oath of Office. The City Clerk will provide the link to file.

    Commission members are required to disclose their economic interests within 30 days of taking the Oath of Office in accordance with Conflict of Interest provisions of State law. This is done by filing by filing the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700), which is a public record.
