2. The City is now seeking volunteers for positions on the Youth Commission. Please visit www.saratoga.ca.us/comvac for information about the current number of vacancies, term lengths, and the recruitment schedule, including the application deadline, interview date, and Oath of Office date.

   Qualifications

   • Must be a resident in the City of Saratoga
   • Must be in grades 7-11 in the upcoming school year
   • Must attend at least one Commission meeting prior to the interview with the City Council
   • Must submit a completed application form and supplemental questionnaire prior to the application deadline

   Interviews

   Following the application deadline, qualified applicants will be invited to interview with the City Council on in the late afternoon/evening on the date specified in the recruitment schedule. Please note that interviews are recorded.

   About the Commission

   The Youth Commission serve as a liaison between the young citizens of Saratoga and the City Council. The Commission plans, promotes and participates in community service, educational, and fun activities for the City's youth.
