The City of Saratoga is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to perform a Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan Update pursuant to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project will apply to City policies, programs, and services, including facilities and public right of way.
The Self-Evaluation will identify how City policies, programs, and services are provided to the public and build on a 2019 citywide assessment survey to identify any physical barriers limiting accessibility to and from City buildings and facilities. The Transition Plan will provide recommendations for removing identified barriers to comply with accessibility requirements as mandated by the ADA. The Transition Plan will also prioritize the barriers that need to be removed with a schedule for achieving compliance.
PROPOSALS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2021. Proposals will not be accepted after the date and time stated above. Proposals will not be disclosed until a recommended action has been submitted to the City Council. The City of Saratoga reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time and for any reason without any liability to any proponent or to waive irregularities at its own discretion. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
